Our Mission

At Steadfast Wellness, our mission is to provide a safe, compassionate, and supportive space where individuals can explore their experiences, understand themselves more deeply, and move toward healing and growth. Through professional and evidence-informed psychotherapy and wellness services, we walk alongside clients as they build resilience, strengthen relationships, and discover hope.

Our Approach

At Steadfast Wellness, we believe meaningful change begins with being understood, valued, and supported. Our approach is collaborative and individualized, taking time to understand your unique experiences, strengths, challenges, and goals. Together, we explore the patterns, emotions, and relationships that shape your life while developing practical strategies that support healing, resilience, and lasting growth.

Meet Sarah

What makes Steadfast Wellness different is the heart behind it.

Sarah works with individuals and families navigating some of life’s most tender and disorienting moments. Sarah helps clients turn toward their deepest emotions with curiosity rather than fear — softening the protective patterns that keep people stuck and rebuilding the sense of connection and security that grief and trauma so often disrupt.  Her work is shaped by more than 30 years in healthcare — from bedside clinical care to executive leadership — where her abiding commitment was ensuring every person felt genuinely seen and supported. She brings that same orientation into the therapy room: grounded, attuned, and fully present with whatever you’re carrying.

Education and Training

Sarah is  a Master of Divinity in Clinical Counselling Candidate, with a specialty in Thanatology, at Tyndale University. Her clinical training includes Emotionally Focused Individual and Family Therapy (ICEEFT), grief work through the Cognitive Behaviour Institute, and she is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)  with the CRPO, alongside her memberships with the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).

That clinical foundation sits on top of a 15+ year career leading healthcare organizations — as Executive Director and CEO of long-term care homes and charitable organizations across Ontario, where she managed multi-million dollar budgets, led unionized workforces of 100+, negotiated labour contracts, and drove regulatory compliance and culture change across complex, multi-stakeholder corporate structures. She holds a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) designation and postgraduate training, giving her fluency in the operational and people-strategy side of healthcare that most clinicians never develop.

It's this combination — therapeutic depth paired with real experience in healthcare business strategy, operations, and HR — that shapes how Sarah works: attentive to the individual in the room, but equally attuned to the systems, teams, and structures that surround them.
